Harford County Lynching Memorial Committee

Mike Dixon: The Harford County Lynching Memorial Committee was established in March 2019. Volunteers on the committee are working to memorialize the victims of this terrible era. The project included plans for a social collection ceremony in March 2019 and later in the year a marker dedication. However, due to the pandemic that resulted in a stay-at-home order and social distancing requirements the committee's work has been disrupted activities, we are using the blog to keep the community informed about our research and plans. Be sure to follow us to keep up with regular updates.
